This would be my third attempt to fly Singapore Airlines new 787-10. Spoiler alert: fantastic aircraft, unforced error by SQ for avgeeks who love the 787 windows.
This flight would the first from Singapore to San Francisco using the A350ULR.
A Singapore Airlines agent met me at the jetway and escorted me to the combined Singapore First and Business class lounge which was across the hall from our arrival gate.
The day began with an expectation to fly Singapore’s new A380 round trip to Shanghai, business to and first on the return. It didn’t work out.
This 4-leg 15,000+ mile first class journey was everything I’d hoped for. Could it get any better? Yes!
While first class redemptions are always a treat, when they include special services like private check-in, the experience becomes extra special. Today’s flight would include Singapore Airlines renowned first class reception.
If you can’t get excited about flying Singapore’s A380 Suites class, then reward flying isn’t for you.
